FORNEY, Texas — Westbound Farm-to-Market (FM) 741 is closed just prior to its intersection with FM 548 due to a gas leak.
The Forney Fire Department responded to the scene of a reported gas leak at approximately 4:15 p.m. and, with the assistance of the Forney Police Department, closed the westbound lanes near the Forney High School parking lot entrance.
An Atmos Energy Corporation representative was on scene when firefighters arrived and confirmed a gas leak at the site where a 7-11 is being constructed.
