SUNNYVALE, Texas — Westbound U.S. Highway 80 is closed Tuesday afternoon to upright an overturned 18-wheeler.
The 18-wheeler had overturned earlier in the morning around 7 a.m. and resulted in major rush-hour delays for westbound traffic into Forney.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office has closed the westbound side of the highway at East Fork Road and is diverting all traffic to the north service road.
Its unknown how long the road will remain closed but onlooker delays are already stacking up on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 from East Fork to west of Collins, also known as State Highway 352.
