FORNEY, Texas — Westbound U.S. Highway 80 has been reopened after a six-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler forced its closure on Thursday morning in Forney, Texas.
The crash was reported at approximately 7:10 a.m. on westbound U.S. Highway 80 just east of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460 and involved five vehicles and an 18-wheeler.
Seven people were transported to area-hospitals with what were described as minor injuries.
The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, and three CareFlite ambulances responded to the scene.
