FORNEY, Texas — A truck overturned in a three-vehicle crash on Friday night on Farm-to-Market (FM) 741 near South Chestnut Street.
The crash was reported at 7:24 p.m. on FM 741 at its intersection of South Chestnut Street. A witness to the crash used a tire iron to smash the overturned truck's window to free the trapped driver.
One person was transported to LakePointe Medical Center in Forney with what were described as minor injuries.
Eastbound and westbound FM 741 was closed while emergency personnel were on scene.
The Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, CareFlite, and the Precinct 2 Constable’s Office are on scene.
