FORNEY, Texas — A woman was arrested Tuesday night after crashing into a utility pole guide wire.
The crash was reported just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460, also known as Clements Drive, and FM 740. The SUV veered off the road at the intersection and struck the guide wire causing damage to the front of the vehicle.
No injuries were reported in the crash but the female driver was arrested for possible intoxication, according to officials.
The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, and CareFlite responded to the scene.
The SUV was towed from the scene.
