Following the tournament, 10-year-old Abigale Staton of Forney, Texas, was named the ASA Classic Champion and a Finalist, second place, for 2017 ASA National Shooter of the Year, both in the Elementary Pins Female class.

“Jennifer and I are extremely proud of all of her hard work and dedication to her sport,” her father, Cale Staton told inForney.com. “Her passion and dedication for Archery continues to grow and allows her to do what she truly loves every day.”
Staton’s training regime includes two to three practices a week with two to three competitions per month.
This year, the Statons have traveled to six national tournaments including the NFAA World Championship in Vegas.
