FORNEY, Texas — Four Falcon turnovers proved costly for the Falcons in their loss to Lovejoy in key District 15-5A matchup last night, 43-41.
Senior Colby Suits again led the Falcon attack with 273 yards passing, 126 rushing yards, and three touchdowns. Top Falcon receivers were Jordan Carroll with two catches for 97 yards and one touchdown and Jaydyn Barrall with six catches for 84 yards and one touchdown. Corey Mayfield also had four catches for 86 yards and a touchdown. Calvin Ribera had 22 carries for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
Lovejoy intercepted a Falcon pass in the end zone with 4:20 left in the game, sealing their 43-41 victory.
North Forney is now 6-2 overall and 3-2 in district play.
