FORNEY, Texas — A Forney High School graduate, redshirted at Oklahoma State University (OSU), was arrested at his dorm on marijuana-related charges, the school’s newspaper reported earlier today.
18-year-old Brendan Vaughn was arrested and charged with one count of felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school and one misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He has since been released on bond.
Vaughn, a member of OSU’s 2017 recruiting class, was redshirting this season.
Just over $2,000 and approximately 1 1/2 pounds of marijuana were seized, according to the report.
