FORNEY, Texas (Ken and Michael Morrill, in partnership with The Forney Messenger) — The Forney High School Jackrabbits won their homecoming matchup against the Royse City Bulldgos on Friday night, 30-27.
Forney's Devon Rideaux led the Jackrabbits with 161 rushing yards on 19 carries and 3 touchdowns and 104 yards passing with one 66-yard touchdown pass to Sean Stephens in the 2nd quarter. Matthew Huffman also added a 26-yard field goal just before halftime.
Forney is now 2-3 overall and 1-1 in District 15-5A play. The jackrabbits next play Lovejoy on the road on Friday, October 13, 2017, at 7:30 p.m.
