GREENVILLE, Texas — The Greenville Lions defeated the Forney Jackrabbits 51-3 on Friday night at Greenville's T.A. Cotton Ford Stadium.

GREENVILLE, Texas — The Greenville Lions defeated the Forney Jackrabbits 51-3 on Friday night at Greenville's T.A. Cotton Ford Stadium.

The Lions scored five uncontested touchdowns and an 18-yard field goal in the first and second quarters. After another Lion touchdown in the third quarter, Forney's Colby Ortega put the Jackrabbits on the board with a 30-yard field goal.

The Lions went on to score another touchdown in the fourth quarter to bring the final score to 51-3 in favor of the Lions.

Forney accumulated 172 yards of total offense — 161 of which were rushing on the heels of Aaron Mount with 76 yards, Jon'Richard Washington with 63 yards, Dalbertt Ndzishangong with 27n Jaylon Phillips with 23, and Vini Sulejmani with 4. Campbell Anderson caught for 8 yards and Zerek Waters for 3.

With the loss, Forney falls to 2-7 on the season and 1-6 in district. They play the Kaufman Lions (2-7 on the season) this Friday night at home.
