Combined, both teams amassed over 1,000 total yards in the matchup.
With the win, the Falcons (9-2) will face Lake Dallas (7-4) on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at AT&T Stadium at 4 p.m.
Falcons senior quarterback Colby Suits, a University of Louisiana at Monroe commit, led the Falcons offense, passing for 260 yards and 2 touchdown and rushing for another 97 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The Falcons struck quick and early with their uptempo offense landing Suits his first rushing touchdown with 11:22 on the clock.
Suits connected with Corey Mayfield on an 82-yard touchdown pass with 6:39 in the 1st quarter. On the night, Suits would connect with Mayfield for another 126 yards and another touchdown.
The Pine Tree Pirates contested on an 18-yard pass from Wade Seidel to Keshon Williams.
In the remaining 3 minutes of the 1st quarter, the Falcons scored two more times with Suits running in a 25-yard quarterback keeper and Jackson Ennels connecting with Mayfield on a 42-yard touchdown pass.
In the 2nd quarter, both teams scored rushing touchdowns with DaβVon Coleman finishing a Pirates drive on a 42-yard scamper and Suits on a 1-yard finisher with no time left on the clock to end the half.
Calvin Ribera scored the only two touchdowns in the 3rd quarter on 3- and 4-yard rushing touchdowns with 7:27 and 0:54 on the clock, respectively.
Suits connected with Mayfield for his final touchdown on the night for 14 yards. Jacob Soto completed a 14-yard rushing touchdown and 66 total rushing yards on the night.
The Pirates clinched a game-ending 3-yard Seidel rushing touchdown.
On the ground for the Falcons, Mayfield also rushed for 87 yards on 2 carries, Soto with 66 yards on 4 carries and Ribera with 62 yards and Nate Miller with 26 yards.
In the air for the Falcons, in addition to Mayfields 168 yards and 3 touhdowns, Jordan Carroll caught 5 passes for 61 yards, Ennells caught 3 for 52 yards, Jayden Barrall caught 2 for 13, and Barclay Ford caught 1 for 8.
The Falcons clocked 28 first downs and 640 total offensive yards, 302 passing and 338 rushing.
Also tonight, Lake Dallas beat out Frisco Reedy (9-2) in a nail-biter 37-34 victory for their spot in the Area-Round of the playoffs against North Forney.
