FORNEY, Texas (Special contributions from Ken and Michael Morrill, in partnership with The Forney Messenger) — North Forney High School remains undefeated on the season after a 70-65 district-opener win over Wylie East on Friday night at City Bank Stadium.
North Forney’s quarterback Colby Suits accounted for 10 of the Falcons touchdowns with five rushing, four passing, and one receiving.
Suits passed for over 300 yards and rushed another 184 yards. Jordan Carroll had seven catches for 221 yards, two touchdowns, and the touchdown pass to Suits.
The Falcons move to 4-0 on the season, 1-0 in District 15-5A, and next play Highland Park at Highlander Stadium at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017.
