FORNEY, Texas — North Forney High School quarterback Colby Suits has been named the Dallas Morning News’ Offensive Player of the Week for Week 4.
Suits, a University of Louisiana at Monroe commit, is also in the running for TexasFootball.com's Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week.
Last Friday, Suits accounted for all 10 touchdowns by the Falcons in their 70-65 win over Wylie East in their District 15-5A opener at City Bank Stadium in Forney. He threw for 400 yards and four touchdowns, rushed for nearly 200 yards and five touchdowns, and caught a trick play off the arm of Jordan Carroll for a receiving touchdown.
The Falcons next matchup is against defending 5A Division I State Champions, Highland Park, on Friday, September 29, at Highlander Stadium.
