FORNEY, Texas — The Texas Rangers will host a Forney Softball Recognition Night on June 21 with $3 of every ticket sold through a promotional order being donated to the Play for Em Foundation.
The Rangers take on the Toronto Blue Jays that night, but before both teams take the field, the Forney High School softball team will be recognized on field. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m.
The Play for Em Foundation was established by the Forney Independent School District.
Tickets must be purchased through the promotional order forms to be eligible for the $3 foundation donation. Tickets can be ordered online at the Texas Rangers website by clicking "buy tickets" under the "Forney Softball" section at www.TexasRangers.com/schools. To print and mail an order form, click here.
The Texas Rangers organization also sent flowers to the Forney softball team in wake of Emily Galiano’s tragic death earlier this month.
