TERRELL, Texas — Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant, Chuy's, is set to open its doors in Terrell this December, with the grand opening scheduled for Tuesday, December 5.
The restaurant, located at 300 TX-557 Spur, is currently hiring for various full and part-time positions.
Chuy's, founded in 1982, is known for its unique dining experience, offering fresh, made-from-scratch Tex-Mex recipes in a fun, eclectic atmosphere. The menu features authentic dishes crafted with hand-rolled tortillas made fresh throughout the day.
"We're so excited to be opening in Terrell," said Jason Crane, local owner and operator for the new Chuy's. "We've received so many requests to open in Terrell and are thrilled to share our passion for fresh food and unique flair with this awesome community."

Chuy's Terrell will serve lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The restaurant will also offer a happy hour on weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., featuring drink specials and $5 chips and dip appetizers.
