More Than $100,000 In Property Recovered In Forney

FORNEY - The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office and the Constable Precinct 2 Deputies recovered more than $100,000 in stolen property in Forney.

FORNEY - The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office and the Constable Precinct 2 Deputies recovered more than $100,000 in stolen property in Forney.

On August 21, 2024, the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office and Precinct 2 Deputies arrested four individuals and charged them with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Theft, and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. The property recovered in the Forney operation included a John Deere Tractor, a Chevy Silverado 2500 truck, a 30ft Goose Neck Trailer, and a John Deer Generator.

Deputies also responded to a stolen motor vehicle call and located a vehicle in Kemp that had been reported missing from Rowlett.

“The swift actions of the Sheriff’s Office and collective assistance with other law enforcement agencies highlight their ongoing commitment to protecting the community and ensuring that stolen property is returned to its rightful owners,” stated a release from the Sheriff’s Office.
