FORNEY, Texas — Three men were arrested Friday on warrants for attempted murder out of Louisiana.

Earlier today, members of the Forney Police Department were conducting surveillance on a residence in the 200 block of Giddings Trail in Forney, Texas, in connection with three subjects with active warrants for a attempted murder out of Louisiana.

The three subjects were known to frequent the residence and, while conducting surveillance, police officers observed one person leaving the residence in a vehicle showing to have attached warrants, according to a statement from the Forney Police Department.

Forney Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as 21-year-old Clinton Duplechin of Winnsboro, Lousiana — identified as one of the wanted subjects.

Duplechin was taken into custody without incident and advised the two other wanted subjects were inside the residence on Giddings.

"Forney Police set a perimeter around the residence and called for the two suspects to come outside," read a statement from the department. "The two suspects exited the residence and fled on foot to a nearby new residence not yet occupied."

After a short time, the two remaining suspects — identified as 19-year-old Terrance Richardson of Forney, and 17-year-old Tyrell Richardson of Winnsboro — exited the residence and surrendered without further incident.

All three were transported to the Forney City Jail where they are awaiting arraignment.
