KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — An 18-wheeler lost a portion of its load on westbound Interstate 20 early Wednesday morning.
Just after midnight, the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to westbound Interstate 20 between mile marker 509 and 510 for an 18-wheeler which reportedly lost a portion of its load on the highway.
DPS troopers closed the left lane of the highway due to shingles on the road.
A heavy-duty wrecker has been requested for clean-up and to tow the 18-wheeler which reportedly suffered a blow-out resulting in damage to its radiator.
At 2:35 a.m., the debris and 18-wheeler were cleared from the highway.
