FORNEY, Texas — An 18-wheeler overturned Thursday morning on a railroad crossing in Forney.
At approximately 7 a.m., the Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, and CareFlite responded to an overturned 18-wheeler on the railroad crossing at Smurfit Kappa — just east of Farm-to-Market (FM) 548.
The truck was hauling wood pellets at the time of the crash.
A heavy-duty wrecker and cleanup crew are on scene.
The driver was transported to Baylor, Scott & White in Sunnyvale, Texas, in unknown condition.
