TERRELL, Texas — A two-year-old child was accidentally run over by a vehicle earlier today in Terrell and airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital.
The incident occurred in the 100 block of Live Oak Lane, according to Terrell Police Department Corporal Zachary Boyd.
A grandmother unbuckled the child from a carseat, exited the vehicle, and walked around to the passenger side of the vehicle to get the child.

The child was airlifted by CareFlite medical helicopter to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and is in stable condition, according to Boyd.
