FORNEY, Texas — The 2016 Summer Movies and Music in the Parks series ends this week with a Friday showing of Inside Out (PG) and a Saturday performance by the Forney Community Band.

FORNEY, Texas — The 2016 Summer Movies and Music in the Parks series ends this week with a Friday showing of Inside Out (PG) and a Saturday performance by the Forney Community Band.

The showing of Inside Out on Friday night will begin at sunset and the Forney Community Band will take the stage Saturday at 8 p.m.

Both events are free for all ages and will be held at the Mick Spellman Amphitheater within the Forney Community Park.

Blankets, lawn chairs, picnics, and coolers 12x12x17 are permitted within the amphitheater. No alcohol is allowed.

“We hope everyone has enjoyed the concerts this year and welcome any requests for next year,” the City of Forney stated on Facebook.
