FORNEY, Texas — Beginning June 11, and weather permitting, Union Pacific will begin railroad maintenance on all its crossings in the City of Forney which will result in railroad crossing closures, according to the City of Forney.
FORNEY, Texas — Beginning June 11, and weather permitting, Union Pacific will begin railroad maintenance on all its crossings in the City of Forney which will result in railroad crossing closures, according to the City of Forney.
The City of Forney released a tentative schedule Wednesday morning which is subject to change depending on weather conditions and construction time.
The construction on the Farm-to-Market (FM) 740, also known as Bois D’Arc Street, Elm Street, and Center Street crossings are scheduled for June 11 and 12. Union Pacific will try and limit the closure of FM 740 to one day, according to the City of Forney.
The Chestnut Street, FM 548, and County Road 212 crossings will be conducted on June 12 and 13. Again, Union Pacific will try and limit the FM 548 closure to one day, according to the City of Forney.
