FORNEY, Texas — Search crews discovered an unidentified body on Lake Ray Hubbard earlier today — a week after a fisherman was reported missing on the lake.
FORNEY, Texas — Search crews discovered an unidentified body on Lake Ray Hubbard earlier today — a week after a fisherman was reported missing on the lake.
Texas Game Wardens believe the body to be that of 50-year-old Mark Jordan who was reported missing on March 15, 2017, according to a Twitter update on the search earlier today.
“[Texas Game Wardens] and 1st responders have recovered body on Lake Ray Hubbard believed to be missing angler; prayers to family & friends,” read the statement.
The body was discovered approximately 150 yards from where Jordan’s boat was believed to have capsized near the State Highway (SH) 66 bridge. His boat was recovered a day after he was reported missing.
The body, described as that of a male and without a life jacket, was sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office for identification.
