FORNEY, Texas — The City of Forney is proposing to institute annexation proceedings on five tracts of land on the city's west side, both north and south of U.S. Highway 80.
FORNEY, Texas — The City of Forney is proposing to institute annexation proceedings on five tracts of land on the city's west side, both north and south of U.S. Highway 80.
In total, approximately 351.9362 acres of land are sought for annexation.
Two public hearings will be held on March 19, 2019, and April 2, 2019. Both meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Forney City Hall.
The tracts of and sought are as follows:
An approximate 7.034 acres of land owned by John D. Gibson & Sarita K. French, situated in the John Gregg Survey, Abstract No. 171, Kaufman County, Texas, also identified as KCAD Property ID No. 6582, located at O FM 740, south of the intersection of FM 740 and FM 460.
An approximate 5.00 acres of land owned by John D. Gibson & Sarita K. French, situated in the John Gregg Survey, Abstract No. 171, Kaufman County, Texas, also identified as KCAD Property ID No. 6583, located at O FM 740, south of the intersection of FM 740 and FM 460.
An approximate 44.308 acres of land owned by Sharon S. Riggs & Linda C. Martin, situated in the John Gregg Survey, Abstract No. 171, Kaufman County, Texas, also identified as KCAD Property ID No. 6414, located at O FM 460, south of the intersection of FM 740 and FM 460.
