KAUFMAN, Texas — The City of Kaufman is asking residents to conserve water on Thursday, February 23, 2017, while the North Texas Municipal Water District is performing maintenance and repairs to the water line servicing the city.
The North Texas Municipal Water District will be performing maintenance and repairs between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Feb. 23, according to a statement from the City of Kaufman.
“Your water will not be cut off, as the city's underground and overhead reserves should accommodate the city's needs throughout the process,” read the statement. “However, we ask that you please conserve water during this time, and there is no outdoor watering allowed during this time.”
