KAUFMAN, Texas — The City of Kaufman will hold an auction at old City Hall as they prepare to make way for a new $6.63 million joint city hall and police department facility.
The auction will be held this Saturday, November 19, 2016, at old City Hall which is located at 209 South Washington Street. The auction is set to begin at 8 a.m.
“Items to be auctioned will be various lots including surplus office furniture, equipment and supplies,” according to the City of Kaufman.
All items won at auction must be removed from the building no later than 3 p.m. the day of the auction.
A majority of city offices have relocated to Kaufman County’s South Campus at 3003 South Washington Street for approximately 18 months while the new facility is constructed.
