KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Several Combine homes were damaged when a line of severe storms swept across Kaufman County on Wednesday morning.
Kaufman County Office of Emergency Management Coordinator Steve Howie tells inForney.com approximately 12 homes were damaged in the area of Lanier Road and Pecan Trail.
The homes sustained fallen tree damage as well as straight-line wind damage, according to Howie.
Howie says the approximately four homes were evacuated by firefighters due to damage.
The American Red Cross responded to provide assistance to the affected families.
