FORNEY, Texas — Crews are working to repair a water main break in downtown Forney which is impacting area households and businesses.
Contractors working on the Downtown Enhancements Project struck a water line Tuesday evening at the intersection of Main Street and Elm Street.
“This leak may affect homes and businesses in and around the area from Center St. to Aimee St.,” stated the City of Forney. “Thank you for your cooperation and we apologize for any inconvenience and will work to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.”
The City of Forney notified of the water line break at approximately 6 p.m. Its unknown when the repairs will be made.
