FORNEY, Texas — The City of Forney will begin daytime closures on a portion of County Road 212 for road repairs beginning May 22, 2017.

County Road 212 from Gateway Boulevard to the Kaufman County line will be closed daily from Monday, May 22, 2017, until Friday, May 26, 2017, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Crews are planning to make “extensive asphalt repairs” along the stretch of roadway, according to the City of Forney.

The portion of roadway was annexed into the city limits during discussions to annex the new Gateway Parks development.
