KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, for much of north and central Texas, including Kaufman County, for Tuesday morning.
The Dense Fog Advisory is in effect from midnight until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the NWS.
“A Dense Fog Advisory means visibility will be reduced to less than one quarter mile,” states the NWS. “If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you.”
Drivers should also allow extra time to reach their destination due to the potentially hazardous driving conditions.
The advisory includes most of the Interstate 20, Interstate 30, and Interstate 45 corridors.
