FORNEY, Texas — Four downtown Forney railroad crossings reopened after being blocked for nearly an hour on Wednesday morning.
Traffic was diverted to the Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 after the crossings at Bois D' Arc, Center Street, Elm Street, and South Chestnut Street crossings were blocked by a Union Pacific Railroad train which had several train cars disconnect in the downtown corridor.
The incident was reported just before 8 a.m. on Wednesday and later reported reopened at 8:51 a.m.
