TERRELL, Texas — Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 remains closed Sunday afternoon after an 18-wheeler overturned earlier in the day.
Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 traffic is being diverted off the highway at the Terrell exit and Spur 557 junction. Motorists can re-enter the highway about a mile east of the exit ramp to continue eastbound on Spur 557.
The wreck was reported just before 9 a.m. on Sunday No injuries have been reported at this time. The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department, CareFlite, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded.
A heavy-duty wrecker crew is on scene and offloading the trailers contains onto another trailer.
Its unknown how long the highway will remain closed.
