FORNEY, Texas — Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 reopened after a rollover crash forced its temporary closure early Wednesday morning.
Just after 2:30 a.m., the Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, and a CareFlite ambulance responded to eastbound U.S. Highway 80 for a pickup truck which overturned under the Pinson Road overpass.
The pickup truck had overturned and came to a rest on its side in the left lane and center median.
Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 was temporarily closed while emergency personnel were on scene and a wrecker uprighted and towed the vehicle. The highway reopened at approximately 3:15 a.m.
One person was taken by CareFlite ambulance to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
