FORNEY, Texas — Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 has reopened following a jack-knifed 18-wheeler crash which forced its closure early Tuesday morning.

FORNEY, Texas — Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 has reopened following a jack-knifed 18-wheeler crash which forced its closure early Tuesday morning.

The crash was reported at approximately 5:40 a.m. on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 just east of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460.

Eastbound traffic was being diverted off the highway at the FM 460/Clements Road exit and onto the south service road. The westbound lane of the south service road was closed while police redirected highway traffic onto the U.S. Highway 80 Broad Street exit.

No injuries were reported in the 18-wheeler wreck.

At approximately 7:50 a.m., two separate wrecks were reported on westbound U.S. Highway 80 in the on-looker delays. Three vehicles were towed from these wrecks.

Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 was reopened at approximately 8:45 a.m.
