FORNEY, Texas — Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 reopened following a motorcycle crash in which one person was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital.

FORNEY, Texas — Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 reopened following a motorcycle crash in which one person was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital.

The crash was reported at approximately 7:30 p.m. on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 just east of the Farm-to-Market (FM) 460 exit, also known as Clements Road.

The highway was closed to allow an Air Evac Lifeteam to land on the highway. The motorcyclist was later transported by helicopter to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

The Forney Police Department, CareFlite ground units, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Forney Fire Department responded to the crash.
