FORNEY, Texas — An elderly driver crashed into the front of Forney City Hall on Saturday evening.
Until further notice, the main entrance at City Hall will be closed and residents are asked to use the back entrance, according to a statement from the City of Forney.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. at City Hall located at 101 East Main Street. A sedan driven by an elderly woman drove over the curb, onto the sidewalk, and into the main entrance of City Hall.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, and CareFlite responded to the crash.
In January, an elderly man drove into the Kaufman County Commissioners’ Court meeting room at the courthouse annex building in Kaufman.
