KAUFMAN COUNTY - FEMA suspends all disaster recovery efforts in Kaufman County on Monday for 24 hours.
Kaufman County Emergency Management Coordinator Steve Howie told inForney.com that this move is out of caution due to the unknowns associated with Hurricane Beryl.
“FEMA will cease operations on Monday and resume on Tuesday morning out of an abundance of caution due to the unknown with Hurricane Beryl,” said Steve Howie. “We encourage all Kaufman County residents to monitor the weather to keep them and their families safe.”
The disaster efforts will resume on Tuesday morning.
