KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a Significant Weather Advisory for Kaufman County until 6:45 p.m. on Sunday as well as a Severe Thunderstorm Wanring until 7:30 p.m.
At 6:11 p.m., Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Celeste to near Quinlan to Forney moving east at 35 miles per hour.
Wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour and torrential rainfall is possible with this line of storms.
Localized flooding may also occur.
At 7:37 p.m., the NWS issued a Flash Flood Warning for Kaufman County until 10:30 p.m.
