FORNEY, Texas — Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 in Forney is closed at Monitor Boulevard due to a two-vehicle collision on Thursday night.
The crash was reported just before 9 p.m. and involved two vehicles.
Witnesses tell inForney.com a northbound FM 1641 vehicle attempted to turn left on Monitor Boulevard when its left front fender struck the left front fender and driver side of a southbound vehicle on FM 1641.
The collision caused the driver’s door of the southbound vehicle to become jammed.
One person is reportedly injured.
A wrecker is on scene now clearing an SUV from the center of FM 1641. A second wrecker has arrived on scene to recover the other vehicle from the southbound shoulder.
Monitor Boulevard at FM 1641 is also closed.
