POETRY, Texas — Farm-to-Market (FM) 986 has reopened in Poetry following a two-vehicle rollover crash on Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 5:45 p.m., the Terrell Volunteer Fire Department, CareFlite, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the 12000 block of FM 986 for the two-vehicle crash which resulted in one vehicle overturning and coming to a rest on its roof.
FM 986 in both directions is closed due to the crash.
A Flight for Life medical helicopter stationed in Wills Point was dispatched and landed at Dr. Bruce Wood Elementary in Terrell, Texas, where it later transported the individual to an area-hospital.
