FORNEY, Texas -- The Forney Fire Department Combat Challenge Team has qualified for the World Finals for the ninth consecutive year, according to the City of Forney.
FORNEY, Texas -- The Forney Fire Department Combat Challenge Team has qualified for the World Finals for the ninth consecutive year, according to the City of Forney.
The qualification came after a regional competition in Sulphur Springs, Texas, on August 11 and 12, in which firefighters Randall Morris, Josh Mosley, Brian Leathers, and Russell Bannister competed.
The team is also scheduled to compete in both the National Finals in Tyler, Texas, from October 6th through 8th, and the Scott Firefighter World Combat Challenge in Louisville, Kentucky, from October 23rd through 28th.
