FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Fire Department extinguished a grass fire on Ranch Road on Thursday morning.
The Forney Fire Department was dispatched to the fire at approximately 10:15 a.m. on Ranch Road just north of Glenwood Trail and Valley View.
Fire officials say the fire was sparked by a tractor cutting hay in the pasture. Approximately an acre burned before firefighters extinguished the fire just after 10:30 a.m.
