FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Fire Department is on scene of a gas line break in the Devonshire community north of Forney on Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 2:30 p.m., the Forney Fire Department was dispatched to the 19000 block of Knoxbridge Road in Devonshire for a utility company which reportedly stuck the gas line.
Atmos has been contacted and is en route to the location for repairs.
The line that was struck was a residential line and not the main service line, according to Forney Fire Department Captain Phillip Pyle. The gas is dissipating quickly and no evacuations are expected to take place at this time.
