FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Fire Department rescued a man trapped atop a bucket truck on the shoulder of U.S. Highway 80 on Wednesday afternoon.
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Fire Department rescued a man trapped atop a bucket truck on the shoulder of U.S. Highway 80 on Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 3:15 p.m., the Forney Fire Department responded to westbound U.S. Highway 80 for a Texas Department of Transportation worker who was trapped atop a bucket truck which was extended while crews removed trees from a utility line stretched over the highway.
A busted hydraulic line is reportedly responsible for causing the bucket to be stuck in mid air.
Firefighters used a ladder truck to extended out to the bucket and rescue the man. No injuries were reported in the incident.
