FORNEY, Texas — A Forney Parks and Recreation Board member was arrested last week on allegations of indecency with a child by sexual contact, according to jail records.
Last week, the Forney Police Department issued an arrest warrant for 35-year-old Ryan Cox of Forney, Texas. Cox turned himself into the Kaufman County Jail on Wednesday night, posted a $35,000 bond, and was released early Thursday morning.
Cox was first appointed to the Forney Parks and Recreation Board in 2012 and currently serves as the board’s vice-chairman.
The offense is a second-degree felony.
