FORNEY, Texas — DEVELOPING: The Forney Police Department is investigating a shooting incident which injured at least one person on Tuesday afternoon.
The injured person was reportedly shot in the leg and is being airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital.
Just before 1 p.m., the Forney Police Department responded to Kroger for a reported shooting in the parking lot between two vehicles.
One of the vehicles, a dark-colored Nissan Sentra, was located at the Baylor, Scott & White emergency room in Forney where the person who was shot in the leg sought treatment.
Two other people from the Nissan are being questioned by police.
Police are still attempting to locate the second vehicle which was described by witnesses as an older model vehicle pickup truck, white in color, that was possibly lowered. It reportedly has driver side damage.
Its unknown what led to the shooting but the two vehicles were reportedly parked near or next to each other in the Kroger parking lot.
Its also unknown how many shots were fired and if they came from both vehicles.
