FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is investigating how a Forney man’s SUV ended up in Lake Ray Hubbard earlier this month.
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is investigating how a Forney man’s SUV ended up in Lake Ray Hubbard earlier this month.
Overnight April 4-5, 2017, the Dallas Police Department, due to its jurisdiction on the lake, was notified of a vehicle which was in the water off a boat ramp on Zion Road in Garland, Texas.
The vehicle, a white 2016 Ford Explorer, was confirmed empty and later recovered from the lake.
Later that morning, the Forney Police Department made contact with the owner in Forney who then reported it stolen.
Police interviewed an eye witness who saw someone drive the vehicle into the lake before walking away from the scene.
