FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Officers’ Association will host a blood drive and food drive this Saturday, September 30, 2017.
Both drives will be held at the Kroger Marketplace at 500 Marketplace Boulevard in Forney, Texas, from noon until 5 p.m.
The blood drive will be coordinated by Carter BloodCare.
The food drive will benefit the Forney Food Pantry. Currently the pantry is in need of among other like items, hygiene items, snack bars, granola bars, protein bars, and non-perishable food items that can be heated or warmed up like single-serve mac & cheese, single-serve soups, single-serve oatmeal, according to the association.
