FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Sub Courthouse is closed to the public for the remainder of the day after three courthouse employees were transported to an area hospital with unknown illnesses.
At 2:37 p.m., the Forney Fire Department was dispatched to the Forney Sub Courthouse after three employees reported coughing and irritation. Those three employees, one a Precinct 2 Constable’s deputy, were transported to a nearby hospital as a precautionary.
The courthouse is expected to reopen tomorrow morning at 8 a.m., according to Pct. 2 Constable Jason Johnson.
Others inside the building at the time of the incident did not report irritation or illness.
The three employees have since been released from the hospital.
