CRANDALL, Texas — Four fire departments extinguished a Crandall-area grass fire earlier today.

CRANDALL, Texas — Four fire departments extinguished a Crandall-area grass fire earlier today.

Around 11:30 a.m., the Crandall Fire Department was dispatched to the area of County Roads 4116 and 4104, just southeast of Crandall and southwest of U.S. Highway 175.

Crandall Fire Department Chief Allen Cousins says the fire burned approximately six acres.

Mutual aid was provided by the Seagoville Fire Department, Kaufman Fire Department, and Scurry Volunteer Fire Department.
